A riveting, complex examination of the nature of  globalized warfare in the 21st century, Hyena Road depicts an embattled Canadian-American initiative to increase safe transport across Afghanistan.  In its compelling narrative and bracing realism the film illuminates the confounding problems of corruption, human rights abuses, and the transnational flows of money, people, and drugs that accentuate the moral uncertainty of Canada’s war in Afghanistan.

This event is co-sponsored by the Jack and Mae Nathanson Centre on Transnational Human Rights, Crime, and Security, Wounded Warriors Canada, and the Department of Political Science of Glendon College.
